Will include monitoring engineering schedules, material acquisition, outside purchases, and installations.
Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phases are documented appropriately.
Prepare and maintain a budget for the project.
Requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years' experience.
Any experience in the field or in a related area of materials handling or construction management, are a plus.
Will need to become familiar with all facets of material handling and warehouse concepts, practices, and procedures.
A degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Typically reports to a department manager.
Project Manager will handle projects up to $10,000,000.
Communication skills are essential.
Some travel will be as required as deemed necessary to maintain project schedule.
Customer retention skills are of primary importance.
Candidate should possess a sociable demeanor in order to be able to deal with other trades on a project site.
